Kia ora my name is Shelly Fredric. Most call me Shellz. I have recently been promoted to Head Kaiako in Graduation Kindergarten.
I live here in Waipukurau with my husband Fred. We have 3 adult children and 4 grandchildren.
I have been teaching in the early childhood sector for the past 15 years, gaining my ECE qualification in 2009. I have been teaching at Scallywaggs Kindergarten and Care since 2019. Prior to starting here I taught in centres up in Hastings. Each centre I have taught in has assisted me in strengthening my understanding of the diversity of cultures and ethnicities within the community and how this impacts the learning of our tamariki.
I have a particular interest in science, the outdoors, diversity and literacy.
I look forward to continuing building responsive and reciprocal relationships with both tamariki and whānau.

Kia ora,
My name is Marnie Baker. I was raised in Waipawa and moved back in 2019 to raise my family here. I currently reside in Waipawa, with my two children; Aria and Hudson; they attend Scallywaggs Kinikātene in Waipawa.
I graduated from The University of Waikato with a Bachelor in Teaching (Primary) and a Bachelor in Health, Sport and Human Performance in 2021. I look forward to building positive, reciprocal relationships with the tamariki and their whānau, supporting those through their learning journey as they attend Graduation Kindergarten.
